The MSNswitch is a Ethernet/Web based 2-Channel mains switch unit which can automatically re-boot up to 2 devices when a ping request fails. The MSNswitch can be controlled over a network using any web-browser or using Google Talk messenger. Each independent outlet can be switched ON, OFF or Booted (OFF- delay-ON) or a built-in timer can provide scheduled on/off control.
MSNswitch is designed to automatically power-cycle any device when Internet connectivity is lost. This is useful if your router's Internet connection drops. MSNswitch can automatically power-cycle the router for you, without anyone having to visit the remote location. MSNswitch will automatically ping up to five different preset targets (which can be changed) and if they are unreachable, MSNswitch will power-cycle one or both power outlets.
You still have full manual control of the power outlets via any web-enabled device or you can use the MSNswitch as a web-enabled time switch, selecting up to 20 On/Off schedules.
