The unit supports both Modbus RTU and Modbus ASCII protocols. The USB port can be used for configuration or can be used as the main communication interface, installing as a virtual serial port: no external power is required when connected to USB. Featuring a robust industrial construction with the use of optical isolators to prevent ground loop effects and limits damages from power surges.
