The USB-OI16 is a USB digital IO unit that provides 16 opto-isolated digital inputs, 16 opto-isolated semiconductor switch outputs and 2 counter/quad-encoder inputs. Supplied with a copy of NExtView4 Live software and plenty of Windows, MAC and Linux programming examples.

16 opto-isolated digital inputs with a 3-32V DC input range (logic high >2.5V)
2 counters/incremental encoders (32 bit, opt.counter reset) can be connected to any digital inputs - max 250kHz
16 opto-isolated high-side switch outputs switching 7-32VDC at up to 0.25A per output (max 0.8A per 8-channel driver)
USB 1.1 or 2.0 compatible
All I/O connected via 37-way D-type socket

NextView 4 -Data Acquisition Software

NextView-4 is a Windows data logging and control application for use with the BMC range of data acquisition units. The Lite version is for use with a single DAQ unit whilst the Pro version is for use with a multiple DAQ units. With NextView4 you can view data in numeric and chart recorder formats, log data to a CSV file, add buttons, sliders and automate your data acquisition task.
